Preliminary Knowledge:
Prerequisites: general and developmental psychology; pedagogy
Objective:
To foster the professional competence of students by promoting the implementation of systematised and empirically justified content on basic matters of social and communication psychology, socio-psychological approach to personality research, formation, processes and expressions of personality communication skills.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Lectures, independent learning, seminars, final examination – examination. Students’ independent learning is organised individually and/or in groups. Students independently prepare for seminar classes. 1. Evaluation of social perception of two in 3 situations. Conflict resolution and discussion methods in a sports team/group. 2. Independent learning with a presentation: Interactive aspect of communication during a sports training or sports class. 3. Analysis and presentation of one pressing problem in social psychology (using additional literature and electronic databases, references should be made to used literature accompanied by a description of at least 2 scientific studies on the subject being studied).
Assessment Criteria:
Independent work; Examination.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:1. Theoretical directions and scientific developments of social and communication psychology 2. Structure of communication, social perceptions, communication, manifestations of interaction and social impact factors 3. Phenomena of personality behaviour in groups, types of conflicts, their progress and resolution possibilities.
Skills:1. Able to explain and define current problems in the work of a sports teacher and able to purposefully plan and analyse their causes in the socio-psychological context. 2. Able to discuss communication and cooperation skills in the work of a sports specialist.
Competencies:1. Identifies and is able to work with socio-psychological problems by choosing appropriate manifestations of communication in the work of a sports specialist. 2. Analytically evaluates social phenomena of a group, the interaction between the social environment and a personality in the professional activity of a sports specialist.
