Preliminary Knowledge:
Study courses: foundations of business, microeconomics, macroeconomics.
Objective:
Provides the possibility to improve theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills in business to be able to do and manage business.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Characteristics of a product or service in the field of sport; market analysis; development of a marketing strategy; description of functioning of a company; description of company management and employed persons; schedule of the most important events of a business plan; development and presentation of a business plan in the field of sport.
Assessment Criteria:
For a student to get a successful assessment, differentiated test requirements: attitude towards education, development dynamics, active activity in seminars (50%) and independent learning performed by the student (50%). For mastering the study course, the student receives a differentiated assessment on a 10-point scale. To get a positive assessment for the study course, the total assessment should sum up to at least 4. The student receives assessment by summing up the number of points, assessing knowledge, skills and competences in the performance of individual tasks (independent works, productive activity during seminars, examination), attitude and individual development dynamics.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:1. To define own business model for creating new values. 2. To use financial planning and forecasting methods to implement a business idea. 3. To critically assess risks related to planned activities for the implementation of a business idea. 4. To assume individual and team responsibility for creating new values.
Skills:5. Will know and use basic principles of project development and management. 6. Will use decision-making methods. Planning methods.
Competencies:7. Ability carry out own professional activities in accordance with the chosen business model. 8. Ability to develop a business plan based on the developed model.
