Hello Everyone! Here are a few nuggets of information about us, the RSU Academic Society of Infectious Diseases (ASID): we are a society focused on spreading awareness on the inner workings of infectious diseases, and the disastrous impact they can have on the world.
Medicine has advanced greatly and accomplished extraordinary feats over the years, but the war between humans and the nasty critters of the microscopic world wages on. The COVID-19 pandemic is a testament to that and has once again brought infectious diseases to the forefront of global interest.
We aim to aid and support students with an interest in this diverse and intriguing discipline of medicine to better their knowledge.
