Objective

Improve students’ knowledge and skills in real estate transactions; train students to independently identify and deal with interdisciplinary issues related to law enforcement; spot the common things in separate areas of law while carrying out real estate transactions, and successfully prepare procedural documents for law enforcement in the Land Register.

Prerequisites

Legal Methods, Family Law, Property Law.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

On completion of the study course students will be familiar with the sources of law regulating real estate transactions; will understand the necessity of public registration and the role of the Land Registers; will be familiar with the procedure for registration of transactions and the necessary documents for it.

Skills

On completion of the study course students will be able to apply the relevant legal provisions to address specific legal situations; to draw up procedural documents; to analyse issues and make independent and motivated evaluation and offer solution to the situation.

Competence

On completion of the study course, students will identify and apply the sources of property law and law of obligations, the sources of Land Register law, apply their knowledge and skills in professional activity, apply legal methods systematically and rationally, continuously improve their knowledge and qualification, analyse legal information and identify and analyse current issues in practice.
