On 6 October the International Students' Association at Rīga Stradiņš University is organising the annual international medical symposium at the RSU Medical Education Technology Centre at 26a Anniņmuižas bulvāris from 10:00 - 17:00, with a focus this year on “Essential Diagnostic Skills in Medicine”. Esteemed professionals not only from Latvia but also Great Britain and Mexico will be sharing their knowledge and expertise in diagnostics and skills.

The symposium will start with three guest lectures in neurosurgery, paediatric pulmonology and cardiology, establishing the necessary basic knowledge that will be necessary in the four practical workshops including the above specialities and a general suture workshop that will take place in the afternoon session. Each of the participants will have a chance to attend all of the workshops.

Lectures are open to everyone, however registration is required in order to participate in the workshops.
