Professor Manjulaa Narasimhan will lecture on WHO tools on self-care in SRH including antenatal care Tuesday, 22 March.
Manjulaa Narasimhan is a Scientist in the Department of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Research at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland; and an Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the Imperial College London. She coordinates the development of WHO's global normative guidance on people-centred, integrated approaches to sexual and reproductive health and rights, including the 2021 guideline on self-care interventions for health and well-being. Manjulaa has led and promoted successful, innovative approaches in global policy and research to improve the health and well-being of underserved, marginalized populations. She has also identified and led strategic planning and oversight of new technologies and approaches to increase quality health coverage for all and built bridges between stakeholders, decision-makers and policy actors to positively influence public policy and practice.
