About Study Course
Objective
1. Become familiar with drug use in hospital, data presenting opportunities (DDD/1000 bed days).
Give deeper understanding of topics about safe and rational drug use in hospital setting, drug dosing, also in special patient groups, for patients with organ failure, as well about therapeutic drug monitoring opportunities and main principles.
2. Improve student skills in pharmacotherapeutic problem identification (e.g. drug side effects and drug interactions), documentation and resolving.

Clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy
Learning outcomes
Describe common pharmacotherapy problems and basic principles of drug dosage adjustment.
Analyze clinical cases and identify pharmacotherapy problems.
Independently analyze clinical cases, interpret real and potential pharmacotherapy problems and present a possible plan for solving these problems.
