About Study Course
Objective
Rotation clinical practice, the purpose of which is to strengthen the theoretical, professional knowledge, skills and abilities acquired in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of study, providing quality care to patients at different age stages. To ensure the quality and development of nursing practice, to implement an evidence-based nursing process. Implement person-centred care by educating patients and their family or legal representatives, educating nurses and other members of the health and social care team.
Prerequisites
Leadership and management skills in nursing practice. Patient safety, rights, confidentiality, pedagogy in health care. Clinical pharmacology and medication care, basics of clinical care, clinical care, nursing process and nursing theories, interpersonal communication in health care, practice I, II, III, IV, V, psychiatry and narcology, general care, family medicine, neurology and patient care, Mental health and patient care, 1.-4. study courses defined in the Nursing program of the study year.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge of planning and implementation of general and specialized patient care in general care nursing practice, according to approved standard of general care nursing
Implement evidence-based care, use a critical thinking approach to patient care. Plan and implement the patient education process in case of acute and chronic diseases.
Ability to implement evidence-based care, ensure continuity of patient care process. Ability to ensure quality and development of nursing practice care. Ability to educate patients and other healthcare professionals. Ability to manage the resources necessary to provide healthcare work.
