We are very pleased to invite you to the conference co-organized by the Department of Pathology of Rīga Stradiņš University and the Baltic Association of Neuropathologists (BAN), member of the European Confederation of Neuropathological Societies. The on-site conference will take place on 10 November 2023 at 9c Kuldīgas iela in Rīga.

The conference will start at 10:00 with a lecture on neurodegenerative diseases by Prof. Zane Jaunmuktane (London, UK). The lecture will mainly focus on the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. The prospective audience of the lecture includes medical students, but medical residents and students interested in neuropathology are also kindly welcome to attend it. Registration for the lecture is not required.

The event will continue with the Baltic Association of Neuropathologists' Conference, themed 'Interesting Cases in Neuropathology'. The prospective audience of this part of the conference includes mainly pathologists, but neurologists, neurosurgeons, oncologists and other healthcare professionals are also invited.

The working language of the conference is English.
