About Study Course
Objective
To promote acquisition of knowledge of the main types of immunopathology and related diseases: immunodeficiencies, autoimmunity, allergies, infections of the immune system, etc.; the most important parameters characterising human immunity, options for the determination thereof, indications, clinical interpretation and use in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of various diseases; immunoprophylaxis and immunocorrection techniques, agents, indications of use and side effects; clinical immunopharmacology agents.
Prerequisites

Learning outcomes
As a result of completing the study course, students obtain knowledge that allows to:
• understand and describe the functioning of the immune system in normal conditions and in case of various immune pathologies;
• name and describe the most important immunological test methods that characterise different components of immunity: humoral immunity, cellular immunity, complement system, phagocytosis;
• know the aetiology, clinic, immunopathological diagnosis and therapy of immunopathological conditions.

• orient in the principles of immunotherapy, groups of immunomodulators;
• orient in the most important immunomodulatory preparations, their side effects and prevention of the side effects.
As a result of completing the study course, students will be able to:
