About Study Course
Objective
To provide students with extended knowledge of the most important institutions of property and obligations law, legal relationships that arise in connection therewith; to develop the ability to recognize and propose legally and factually sound solutions to problem situations in the area of property and obligations law by applying appropriate legal provisions, in conjunction with case law, and to prepare appropriate procedural documents.
Prerequisites
Introduction to law and civil law.
Learning outcomes
In-depth knowledge of institutions of property and obligations law, the development trends thereof, the place and role thereof in the legal system, knowledge of protection of property and possession rights. Knowledge of lawful transactions, procedures for making thereof.
Ability to determine the legal composition of legal relationships, to identify problems and choose the most appropriate solution to the situation, to apply the relevant legal norms, to draft documents, to understand property and obligations law in connection with legal norms of other fields, to analyse problems and assess them in independent, motivated manner.
To identify and use sources of property and obligations law, case law, apply knowledge and skills in professional activities, apply legal methods systematically and rationally, improving one’s skills independently, to analyse legal information, make proposals for improvement of legal framework, analyse current problems in practice, identify development tendencies.
