About Study Course
Objective
To enable the future sports specialist to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and competences in the field of professional ethics.
Prerequisites
Sport philosophy, management basics, communication psychology.
Learning outcomes
Knows:
1. Professional ethics. Basic principles, values and norms of professional ethics in sports.
2. Behavior and work culture.
3. In sports ethics
4. About the Sports Code of Ethics, Codes of Professional Ethics. About the World Anti-Doping Code, anti-doping rules.
5. Respectful and fair attitude in communication.
6. To base mutual relations on justice, truthfulness and benevolence, teaching the participants of the training process to recognize their unethical or erroneous behavior and to correct it.
7. To implement ethical principles, balanced decision-making, if necessary in cooperation and agreement with parents or legal representatives and interested parties on solving ethical problems, resolving disputes, preventing pressure, etc. during the training process.
8. To build the ability of persons involved in the training process to make ethical and positive decisions, evaluating information and taking responsibility for it.
9. Identify and prevent manifestations of deviant behavior of individuals and teams (overtraining, doping, discrimination, offensive behavior, etc.) in the learning/training process.
10. To observe the professional ethics norms of the sports and education sector.
11. The ability to independently assess the situation and improve the competence of the training process participants to make ethical and positive decisions, evaluating information and taking responsibility for it.
12. Ability to comply with the requirements of the legal acts binding on the field and professional ethics norms of the field. Ability to create and manage a safe and effective learning/training environment, perform critical self-analysis.
