Privacy policy

In order to ensure the correct processing of the personal data of participants at the Reseachers’ Breakfast organised by Rīga Stradiņš University (hereinafter - RSU), we inform you that

1. For the pursposes of the organisation and administration of the Researchers’ Breakfast, the personal data provided by you during registration will be processed: name, surname, e-mail address, institution, phone number. RSU will process the aforementioned personal data for 12 (twelve) months;
2. The Reseachers’ Breakfast will take place via the electronic platform Zoom and will be recorded. Recordings and/or photographs may be used in the legitimate interests of RSU - to represent the conference in marketing and communication activities to ensure RSU's visibility (this includes preparing and posting the material on social networks), as well as for archiving and further work in the study process. Processing personal data is carried out on the basis of Article 6 (1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), i.e. RSU's legitimate interest in covering events it organises, or events in which it participates in the media and on social networks, thus ensuring visibility;
3. The data referred to in the previous paragraph will be stored permanently. Depending on the purpose of the specific data processed, some of the materials may be publicly available on RSU social networks and/or website, thus becoming available to third parties.
