Objective

To gain practical skills in the development of a research paper, by broadening and systematising theoretical knowledge and acquiring skills of applying it studying the chosen topic, defining the problems and drawing reasoned conclusions and suggestions.

Prerequisites

Knowledge in the study courses implemented in the study programme.
Students require knowledge about research methodology and methods, formulation of basic research aims and planning of the course of research, theories related to the chosen research topic, creating of bibliography.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

In the course of developing a Bachelor’s thesis, students broaden their knowledge about research development, methodology and matters related to the topic of the Bachelor’s thesis.

Skills

Students acquire the skills of carrying out independent scientific research, as well as improve their presentation skills in the process of presenting the application of the Bachelor’s thesis, and during pre-defence and defence of the Bachelor’s thesis.

Competence

In the course of developing and defending a Bachelor’s thesis, students acquire the competence in practical application of theoretical and methodological knowledge in order to carry out a scientific research, as well as improve their competence in the matters of the research topic.
