Baltic Sport Science Society

The Baltic Sport Science Society (BSSS) unites four Baltic sports universities – RSU LASE (formerly the Latvian Academy of Sport Education), the Lithuanian Sports University, Vytautas Magnus University (formerly the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences), and the University of Tartu, as well as the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland.

Aims

To develop sport sciences and promote research in the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania);
To improve the quality of doctoral studies (PhD) in the Baltic States;
To organise scientific meetings and courses in the field of sport sciences;
To cooperate with national and international organisations in sport sciences and related fields
