Aim
The aim of the preparatory visit is to meet Norwegian partners in order to get acquainted, discuss and specify the research theme and its sub-directions and methodology, as well as agree upon cooperation principles in the research project, preparation of application and implementation process
Description
Within the framework of the cooperation project, it is planned to conduct interdisciplinary and international research [occupational health, ergonomics, chemistry, public health] on the risk factor impact on occupational diseases in the non-industrial work environment, where little research has been undertaken
Conclusions drawn within the project will help develop methods for the effective assessment of environmental risk factors and guidelines for the prevention of health disorders of the employed population
Activities of the project
Within the framework of a preparatory visit, two researchers from partner institutions in Latvia shall visit Norway, where, during a preparatory meeting, it is planned to discuss and agree upon the following topics
- Specifying the direction of the research theme
- Methodology options, advantages
- Cooperation principles in the project application and implementation phases
- Division of areas of responsibility and duties in cooperation research project application development and project (research) implementation
- Participants of the visit - Ivars Vanadziņš, head of RSU Institute of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health, Maija Eglīte, head of RSU Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, leading researcher
