Objective

The study course focuses on learning the methodology for forensic and operational activity and provides for the successful student a full operational capacity in a criminal investigation institution.

Tasks: to develop skills in full use of technical facilities, tactical techniques and in choice of methods to deal with specific situations in a criminal investigation institution.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

The student fully understands the role of the criminal investigation function; the institutions involved and knows the content of the operational activity.

Skills

The student has acquired skills in performing operational activities, is able to apply forensic and operational techniques, is able to manage special records documentation, is able to find and establish operational contact with the person causing interest.

Competence

The student is fully competent to take decisions on the progress of the operational process and the use of the information obtained in the investigation.
