Overcoming the crisis in Latvia: economic, social and communication aspects

The objective of the research is to integrate empirical knowledge about macro-structures (economic institutions), social actions of micro and meso-level (sociology and social anthropology) and communicative relations between the structure and social behaviour. The causes of the economic and financial crisis, coping strategies and impact of consequences on households, business activities, social solidarity and discursive practice in Latvia are to be studied based on theoretical concepts
