Objective

To provide knowledge of civil procedure law, institutions and sources thereof, to develop understanding of the procedural basis and procedure of dispute resolution, to acquaint students with the course of litigation, to give theoretical understanding of civil procedure law and skills of practical application of legal norms.

Prerequisites

Introduction to civil law.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

About civil procedure as the basis of protection of subjective civil rights, on the principles of civil procedure and proceedings, procedural documents, knowing the names of institutions of civil procedure, their place in the protection of the interests of individuals.

Skills

To select the necessary procedural solution according to the actual circumstances, to apply the relevant norms of civil procedure law, to prepare draft documents, to analyse problematic issues and to provide an independent, motivated assessment, to offer a solution of the situation.

Competence

To apply knowledge and skills in professional practice, to collaborate, to develop one’s knowledge and skills, working with legislation and case law.
