Objective

To acquire theoretical knowledge and to develop practical skills in criminal intelligence.
Tasks:
1. Acquire theoretical knowledge of the use of the results of criminal intelligence in the organisation of work in an institution and of the development of the criminal intelligence model;

2. Raise awareness of the information available for criminal intelligence;

3. Develop practical criminal intelligence skills in the recovery of criminally acquired property, in the application of the analysis according to the specialisation and the use of criminal intelligence products for proof.

Prerequisites

The course „Criminal Intelligence”.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Knows the possibilities of the use of criminal intelligence in the development of the institution’s work organisation, in proving and for the recovery of criminally acquired property. Knows possibilities for obtaining information used in criminal intelligence.

Skills

Able to use the available information in ensuring criminal intelligence; able to use criminal intelligence to achieve specific aims.

Competence

Competent regarding the use of information in criminal intelligence, and in the achievement of the aims of criminal intelligence in accordance with the specialisation.
