Objective
To prepare students to provide emergency medical care in various urgent situations that can occur in dentistry care.
Prerequisites
Anatomy, physiology, pharmacology.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge
As a result of mastering the study course, students will be able to perform basic resuscitation, use an external defibrillator. Take action in case of choking. Evaluate and provide first aid in emergency situations in cardiology, pulmonology, neurology and pediatrics.
Skills
The student is able to realize basic and elements of advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway management, and emergency medical care urgent situations.
Competence
The student is able to provide effective emergency care in various urgent situations.
