About Study Course
Objective
To develop an understanding of and provide theoretical, practically applicable knowledge about the role of projects in the promotion and development of business, types, importance, preparation, development, successful implementation, management, monitoring of projects and funding attraction opportunities. To provide knowledge about professional activity, information search, processing and use in study work and research.
Prerequisites
Learning the basics of economic theory at the secondary school level; ability to learn study material independently; skills in using office computer software (Internet).
Learning outcomes
After completing the study course, students will be able to explain the basic concepts and terminology of project management and business. Will be able to define the nature of the project and business, development perspectives and responsibility. Will be able to explain where to look for help in searching for information, define the relevance of the information obtained for the study of a topic (problem) of their choice in the profession they are studying, orient themselves in the diversity of information sources and evaluate their quality.
After completing the study course, students will be able to independently determine the needs of the client or the company, know how to set goals and tasks for meeting the needs, plan and determine the responsible parties, as well as be able to recognise company risks and determine actions for the management thereof. Students will be able to use information technology for searching and selecting the information they need, as well as for project (business) planning and management, will be able to evaluate project (business) indicators, will be able to explain the role of projects in a company.
Students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in professional activities.
