Objective

Develop an in-depth understanding of current theoretical approaches and practical actions in an innovative business environment; understand and be able to apply the knowledge gained in scientific research and practical work.

Prerequisites

Human resource management, business management, strategic management.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

On completion of the course, doctoral students gain in-depth knowledge that promotes lateral thinking and searching for new ideas; they have a critical analytical understanding of innovation management and innovative entrepreneurship.

Skills

Doctoral students are able to evaluate the human resources and factors influencing creation of leadership, analyse the processes taking place in the environment and make decisions according to the changes of the situation, act in the innovative environment, reasonably justify the decisions in the innovative field, independently acquire new knowledge.

Competence

Doctoral students use rational criticism in research and evaluation of their judgments, formulate and analytically describe processes of organising innovation, demonstrate responsibility, independence, cooperation and communication skills through their actions, strength, habits to overcome difficulties, operate both autonomously and in a team.
