About Study Course
Objective
To acquire basic knowledge of compensator technology in rehabilitation, their classification, use and manufacturing.
Prerequisites
Subjects of physiotherapy program at the Bachelor's degree level.
Learning outcomes
Basic knowledge in compensatory technologies in rehabilitation. Upon completion of the study course, students will recognize cases in which there is need to use compensatory technology, know compensatory technology classification principles, will determine the most commonly used technologies.
After completing the course, students will be able to identify cases in when there is need to apply the compensatory assistive technology, will be able to choose appropriate assistive technology, will be able to provide arguments to justify the choice of it.
Will be able to use the acquired knowledge to be able to analyze and interpret it for the needs of patients for compensator technology, to offer technological solutions and justify their choice.
