Objective

To provide students with an opportunity to acquire basic knowledge of the nature of the Commercial Law, its development and the methodology for application of legal provisions of the commercial law and the interpretation methodology.

Tasks:
1. Encourage students to use their practical skills in commercial law issues;
2. Promote the use of students’ theoretical knowledge in practical application of the commercial law and in carrying out legal analysis;
3. Promote the use of students’ theoretical knowledge in practice in drawing up different commercial documents.

Prerequisites

Introduction to Civil Law, Theory of Law, History of Law, Logic, Liability Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Of theoretical and practical aspects of the commercial law, familiar with the commercial law and the related laws and regulations.

Skills

Able to independently draw up documents related to the foundation, reorganisation, liquidation of companies and carrying out commercial transactions.

Competence

Able to draw up commercial contracts and other documents in the field of commercial law, is familiar with the commercial register, able to read the information about merchants available in the registers.
