Objective

Provide knowledge of the basic principles for the development of scientific publications, the process and stages in publishing, promote skills in the selection of a journal for publishing and elaboration of publishing strategy, understanding of open science toolbox.

Prerequisites

General knowledge at Master's level.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Have good knowledge of the principles, methods and processes for the preparation of research publications. Identify a subset of scientific publications corresponding to his/her field of activity.

Skills

Skills and abilities to select and streamline scientific sources depending on the field of science, the objectives to be reached and priorities identified. Ability to structure a research-based publication in correspondence with the requirements of a scientific journal and to direct it through the publishing process.

Competence

Elaboration and accomplishment of strategies for publishing in scientific press at the beginning of a research career to develop own research profile and integrate effectively into the European and global research.
