Learning outcomes
As a result of completing the study course, students will know the aetiology and pathogenesis of nervous system diseases, recognise and define clinical symptoms and syndromes, be able to name and describe diagnostic methods (anamnesis data, physical examination of the patient, laboratory and instrumental examinations) and principles of disease treatment.
Students will be able to evaluate the aetiology and symptoms of nervous diseases. Students will apply the acquired knowledge in solving different situations: they will be able to explain the objectives, principles and nature of massage and purpose of the measures to be taken to the patient, their relatives and caregivers. Will be able to explain to the patient, their relatives and caregivers the patient’s role in achieving desired goals as a result of massage.
As a result of completing the study course, students will able to identify the clinical signs of diseases and syndromes and differentiate them according to severity and degree of danger, analyse situations, substantiate, logically formulate and explain their opinion. They will be able to interrelate the patient’s symptoms, syndromes, prescribed measures and the masseur’s role in solving the patient’s problems. To independently perform masseur duties related to patient treatment, care and psychological support.
