Objective

To develop an understanding of medical disciplines by studying surgery and traumatology, aetiology, clinics and tactics thereof in emergency situations.

Prerequisites

In anatomy, physiology, communication and ethics.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

The student will be able to explain surgical diseases, aetiology thereof, clinic and tactics in emergency situations and patient care.

Skills

Students will be able to assess the aetiology of surgery, symptoms. Will be able to deal with emergency situations.

Competence

Students will be able to educate the patient and/or their family members and make decisions in the assessment of the patient’s state of health.
