We in the Assyrian Student Association in Riga (ASAR) are from Christian minorities originating in the Middle East such as Assyrians, Syriacs, Arameans, and Chaldeans, among other minorities.

The purpose of ASAR is to represent, serve, and help improve the lives of international students at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). We want to achieve this by helping students with their academic situations as well as social. By organising social events and activities we help and give information to students and our members. By organising collaborative events with other societies we teach others about our culture, and learn about theirs.
