About Study Course
Objective
To provide knowledge in pathology, including aspects of general pathological processes and insight into the pathogenesis of certain important diseases in the study course.
Prerequisites
Cell biology, human anatomy, histology, physiology genetics and biochemistry.
Learning outcomes
As a result of completing the study course, the student will know and be able to explain the nature, development, clinical and laboratory manifestations of the pathogenesis, causes, consequences and outcomes of individual diseases and general pathological processes, as far as the scope of the study course allows.
In clinical assignments, the student will be able to identify the most common pathologies, reasonably evaluate their pathogenesis, therapy options and prognosis; will understand the most common pathological processes that can be encountered in the work of a physiotherapist.
During the course, the student has the opportunity to develop competences in the analysis of professional information, which, together with the knowledge acquired in the study course, forms the basis for the development of clinical competences and professional competences of a physiotherapist.
