Objective

To give knowledge about medical control for persons involved in sport and possible health problems and about fitness level assessment for different groups of people.

Prerequisites

Human Anatomy, Physiology, Sport for Health, Kinesiology, Internal diseases, Traumathology and Orthopaedics.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Understand importance of medical control for different groups of people involved in sports activities; can describe health related fitness level components and assessment methods; get to know specific sports injuries and other pathological conditions and can describe risk factors.

Skills

Be able to assess and evaluate health related fitness level and recomend activities for improvement;
be able to recognise and assess sport injuries and health risk factors and create prevention plan.

Competence

Be able to assess and explain health related fitness level and recommend activities for improvement for people involved in sports or people wanted to start physical activies;
be able to recommend activities for sports injuries and pathologocal health condition prevention from physiotherapy point of view.
