About Study Course
Objective
To acquire the necessary knowledge for the profession of an audiologist about language disorders in children. Indicators of language development by age stages from 0 to 7 years. Using a research-based approach, be able to assess language development in children and analyze signs of language impairment. Analyze and integrate assessment results to plan and implement language therapy, respecting the person's individual level of functioning. To carry out scientific research activities within the study course.
Prerequisites
Speech Sound Disorders, Course Paper.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to:
• know about the language development;
• describes preventive measures to reduce language disorders;
• know about language disorders; causes, symptoms, assessment;
• will describe speech and language therapy, and different work style.
