About Study Course
Objective
To provide students of the Master’s degree programme with knowledge of the substance, possibilities and forms of international legal cooperation.
To promote the students’ understanding of international legal cooperation practice and development trends. To be able to carry out work and research in difficult conditions.
Prerequisites
Completed study courses: Legal Theory, Civil Procedure, Criminal Process. General Part, Criminal Process. Special Part, Legal Institutions.
Learning outcomes
Students are able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the notion and state of international legal cooperation; understand the forms of international cooperation and the specifics of legal cooperation in criminal, civil and administrative proceedings. During the course, the students become acquainted with the practice of legal cooperation and acquire the skills to use the information network of legal cooperation.
Students are able to independently advance the development of their competencies and specialization by exploring the areas, opportunities, mechanisms and processes of international legal cooperation. Ability to carry out work, research or further learning under difficult and unpredictable conditions and, if necessary, to modify them using new approaches.
Students are able to independently evaluate the essence of a problem of international legal cooperation, to formulate the competence of the institution responsible for the solution of the problem, and to find possible solutions for a specific situation (special case). Ability to reasonably explain and discuss complex or systemic aspects of the discipline or professional field concerned with both professionals and non-professionals.
