Objective

Deepen and broaden students' knowledge on the essential principles of tissue structure and functions, as well as contribution to knowledge about reproductive system's functional morphology, human development principles.

Prerequisites

Biology, anatomy and human reproductive system physiology.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

As a result of mastering the study course, students will systematize information about the tissues of the human body, their structure; will provide an overview of the functional morphology of the female genitals, will formulate the main principles of human development; collect information on the preparation and documentation of morphological preparations.

Skills

As a result of the study course, students will be able to distinguish the main tissue groups and describe organ systems.

Competence

Competence in interpreting of tissue structure, demonstration of cells and extracellular matrix using a microscope, interpreting contribution of main tissue components to the events along with normal conditions.
