About Study Course
Objective
To provide Master students with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and competence in the scientific concept of stress, and to improve their understanding of and skills in stress management – management and prevention possibilities.

Not required.
Learning outcomes
Master students are able to name the basic principles and concepts/terminology of stress, understand and are able to explain the common and different features of the concept of “stress, anxiety, burnout, post-traumatic stress, fatigue”, stress management and prevention methods, understand the aspects of stress in social work and in the environment of helping professions. Understand the importance of supervision in stress management in social work.
Master students are able to choose and apply appropriate stress prevention and management techniques in social work.
Master students are able to recognise various manifestations and symptoms of stress in their physical and emotional health, as well as the effects of stress in their professional activity. Master students are competent to recognise the triggers of their personal stress and are able to implement stress self-management in a targeted way.
