Objective

To deepen doctoral students' understanding of contemporary trends in psychology, including in the context of healthcare within the framework of an interdisciplinary approach and to promote understanding of how to develop the doctoral thesis, and to develop competence in crisis and conflict resolution and stress management.

Prerequisites

General knowledge at Master's level.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Will be able to independently analyze and explain the development trends of modern psychology, within the framework of an interdisciplinary approach, in the context of health care and reasonedly discuss the topic of his doctoral thesis.

Skills

Will be able to independently update the research problem in the context of health care in connection with the topic of his doctoral thesis and prepare a literature review on it based on the latest research. Will be able to demonstrate the ability to create a text using a scientific style. Will be able to demonstrate in-depth understanding of modern psychological trends and the topic of his work in the discussion.

Competence

Independently develop a literature review summary of contemporary research in psychology in the health care context in accordance with your doctoral thesis, demonstrating the ability to formulate a research problem, systematically and purposefully select recent research and analyze it. Argumentatively discuss the modern achievements of psychological science and be able to present the concept of own work.
