Objective

To deepen doctoral students’ understanding of how to develop the subject matter of their doctoral thesis, taking into consideration topicalities of contemporary psychology in drawing up survey questionnaires, adapting and applying them in their research work; understanding of psychological assistance and support to various groups of clients and patients, as well as to promote doctoral students' skills in research communication / knowledge dissemination in order to present their doctoral thesis, discuss and provide feedback regarding its results.

Prerequisites

General knowledge at Master's level.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

The student will be able to independently analyze and explain the development trends of modern psychology, within the framework of an interdisciplinary approach, in the context of health care. Argumentatively discuss the topic of doctoral thesis.

Skills

The student will be able to independently analyze, prepare and present the research problem on the topic of his doctoral thesis, based on the latest research. The student will be able to demonstrate in-depth understanding of modern psychological trends, including in the context of healthcare.

Competence

The student will be able to independently develop and present the research phase of his doctoral thesis at the conference, demonstrating the ability to independently formulate a research problem, systematically and purposefully select the latest studies, analyze them and discuss them with other researchers.
