About Study Course
Objective
To promote practical and theoretical knowledge of choreography and the use of various equipment in aerobics classes, as well as learn how to modify the class according to the physical fitness of attendees.
Prerequisites
Systematic attendance of group classes, good physical fitness, sense of music and rhythm, skills in choreography.
Learning outcomes
As a result of the study course students will: tell about choreography preparation and teaching methods; be able to describe different types of aerobics classes; describe the training methods of the exercises; will be able to describe physiological and biomechanical processes during aerobic exercise; evaluate safe and non-traumatic exercise techniques; will be able to list the basic principles of choosing a musical accompaniment.
As a result of the study course students will be able to: perform various aerobic steps and their combinations, use different equipment in aerobics classes; demonstrate and explain strength and flexibility exercise techniques.
As a result of the study course students will be able to: plan and conduct a full aerobics lesson, apply pedagogical and psychological knowledge during the course management; apply an appropriate type of load dosing in aerobic classes.
