From 20 to 24 August Rīga Stradiņš University Institute of Public Health is organising the International Summer School 2018 Riga (ISSR 2018) "Economic Modelling in Health Care"

ISSR 2018 will be an intense week of lectures and interactive workshops aimed at searching for answers to the question: “How to solve challenges in health care systems by applying economic modelling?”

The summer school is intended for students of business management, economics, healthcare and social sciences study programmes, academics, researchers and everyone interested in the topic.

The summer school will consist of lectures, practical classes and experience exchange sessions. A PC would be advisable for the practical workshops; participants of the summer school will be provided with the necessary specialised software. Language: English.

The participation fee for RSU students and academic staff will be covered by RSU. Students must present a document confirming their status.  

The participation fee covers: participation in the summer school, materials and coffee breaks. 

Travel and accommodation costs are self-funded by each participant.

Accommodation possibilities are offered by the RSU student hostel, located nearby.

Time: Monday to Friday 9:00–18:00

The ISSR 2018 is a joint project with the Baltic-German University Liaison Office supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with Funds from the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic Germany.
