Feminists in Riga is an intersectional feminist association that educates about gender equality. We are an inclusive and open-minded group that wants to provide a space for discussions about feminism. Anyone is welcome to join our events and meetings.

Feminism is a range of political and social movements and ideologies that share a common goal: to define, establish and achieve the political, economic, personal, and social equality of genders. Modern feminism focuses on intersectionalism, meaning that people’s social identities can overlap, creating compound experiences of discrimination.
To be a feminist means to stand with all women: queer, disabled, poor, women of colour, and sex workers.
