17. septembrī no pulksten 10.00 līdz 13.00 Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes Hipokrāta auditorijā notiks anestezioloģijas un intensīvās terapijas viesprofesoru lekcijas. Dr. Endrjū Kleins (Andrew A Klein; Lielbritānija) lasīs lekciju Vai anesteziologs paaugstina mirstības risku pēc operācijas?, savukārt Toronto Universitātes (Kanāda) asociētā profesora Džordža Džaiani (George Djaiani) lekciju tēmas ir Negaidītas situācijas sirds katetrizācijas laboratorijā un Neiroloģiskās sekas pēc nekardiālām ķirurģiskām operācijām.

Vieslekciju organizē RSU Medicīnas fakultātes Anestezioloģijas un reanimatoloģijas katedra. Aicināti piedalīties studenti, rezidenti, docētāji un citi interesenti.

Dr Klein is Editor-in-Chief of the journal Anaesthesia, a council member of the Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists (ACTA UK), and an examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
He is also a Fellow of Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge, and their tutor/lecturer in Pharmacology.
