Join the Academic Society of Anaesthesiology, Intensive, and Emergency Care (ASAIEC)!

ASAIC was created in September 2018 as the Academic Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care. In September 2021, emergency medicine was added to our fields of interest, as we believe these fields of medicine to be strongly related. Thus ASAIC became ASAIEC!

ASAIEC’s main goal is to promote anaesthesiology, intensive, and emergency medicine to interested students. This is done by organising theoretical and practical meetings that cover a variety of topics. For our theoretical meetings, we use peer-to-peer teaching under the supervision of our mentors, which allows the participating students to practise and improve their presentation skills. The practical meetings are designed to help students learn and maintain life-saving skills such as airway management and advanced life support.

We welcome any student who is interested to participate, no matter what semester you are in. Join us and learn how to manage a critical patient in any circumstances.
