Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Mastered the theoretical course of the master's program "Clinical Pharmacy". Pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, practical pharmacy and pharmaceutical legislation, social pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.
Objective:
To strengthen students theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired in various study cycles of the Master's program "Clinical Pharmacy".
Assessment
Unaided Work:
In each practice week, the student must perform an analysis of one clinical case, including the patient's information, the applied treatment regimen, clinical research data on the relevant case, drug treatment suggestions referring to the principles of evidence-based medicine, cost analysis of treatment courses (both in cases of initial and recommended corrections). During the internship, all the information obtained and the analyzed clinical cases must be reflected in the internship diary, which records the implementation of all questions in the specific structural unit, systematized according to the progress of the internship.
Assessment Criteria:
The supervisor of each part of the practice records in the diary the assessment of the students' practice in a 10-point system.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:The student will understand the circulation of inpatient medications and documentation.
Skills:The student will be able to analyze and evaluate medical treatment for a patient. Together with the doctor, you will be able to create a treatment scheme and monitor its implementation.
Competencies:The student will evaluate and analyze the compliance of treatment schemes with international recommendations and available financial resources.
