Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | Report, written assignments, literature analysis, collection of information on the Internet, case analysis. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Passed tests. The final assessment consists of a grade for the report that should reflect the analysis of literature, data on the information obtained on the Internet, carrying out a case analysis: 30%; completion of written assignments: 30%; an examination: 40%. The topics for reports and written assignments are given at the beginning of the course. | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students acquire knowledge of the subject of logic, certain semantic categories (terms, expressions, and operators), deductive and inductive conclusions, and the structure of the reasoning process and the diversity of the laws of logic. | ||||||||
Skills: | Are able to deal with logical problems with terms and expressions, are able to use the rules of logic in recognising deductive conclusions, to find quickly arguments for theses to be substantiated. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Are able to understand the laws of logic, develop arguments and conclusions, able to identify semantic categories of logic in legal texts. | ||||||||
