Unaided Work: | Students prepare an essay on the topic "Do Latvia need special regulation on cryptocurrencies?" A written answer must be be prepared to the question referred for each workshop. Student fills out a study-course evaluation questionnaire. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Visit to workshops (30%), essay (30%) and written exam (40%). | ||||||||

Knowledge: | Students acquire in-depth knowledge of blockchain and virtual currencies, their use and legal framework in different jurisdictions. | ||||||||
Skills: | The student is able to collect relevant information relating to the specific legal situation, apply methods of the interpretation of law, use professional legal terms, present his opinion. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Capable of using acquired knowledge in practice, assessing the specific legal situation from a legal point of view, arguing in disputes, logically explaining legal situations from a legal point of view. | ||||||||
