Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of communication and public relations.
Objective:
The aim of course is to develop students' crisis management skills, including the skills to recognize crisis situations, to understand the specifics of each crisis and of being able to find the best communication solutions for crisis management. The course is designed to introduce students with the theoretical basis of crisis management and crisis communication, identification and assessment of possible crisis situations, preparation for them, action and communication in a crisis, public opinion and cooperation with the mass media. At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge in crisis communication simulation.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:In the course of the course, students will be provided with knowledge about crisis management and crisis communication, identifying and evaluating crisis situations, as well as actions during a crisis.
Skills:The aim of the course is to develop students' crisis management skills, including the skills to recognize crisis situations, understand the needs of each situation and be able to identify the best communication solutions for crisis management.
Competencies:Providing support to the organization's management and communication manager in crisis management and crisis communication situations and the ability to practically organize communication in crisis situations.
