Preliminary Knowledge: | The level of knowledge and skills should correspond to the general secondary education standard in sports. | ||||||||
Objective: | Learning of the methodology of teaching the foundations of basketball by promoting raising the level of knowledge and skills of students for teaching athletic disciplines in general education schools in the content of sports classes, in the amount specified in the education standard. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | 1. Knows the classification of basketball technique and tactical methods. 2. Knows the methodology for teaching basketball techniques and tactics – teaching methods, study aids, forms of organisation of sports classes. 3. Knows basketball game rules and referee signals. 4. Knows the formative, summative assessment type, as well as self-assessment approach in learning basketball technique exercises and their performance. | ||||||||
Skills: | 5. Able to demonstrate basketball technique teaching and improvement exercises. 6. Able to plan class notes for using basketball exercises, teaching and improvement of technique methods. 7.
