Preliminary Knowledge: | Knowledge of outdoor activities I, outdoor activities II, general pedagogy, development, social and communication psychology, basics and didactics of tourism and orientation, first aid, hygiene, sports theory, pedagogical improvement in recreation is required. | ||||||||
Objective: | To give students the opportunity to learn (theoretically and practically) diverse outdoor activities, their planning, organization, management. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | Planning, organizing, managing and evaluating individual tasks of an independent recreational cycling tour. Independent planning, organization, management and evaluation of individual responsibilities of a recreation event for students of an educational institution. Exploration of one recreational mountain hiking route. Annotation of the book on the topic of mountains - based on real events. Research of normative acts related to the organization of public events in the field of recreation. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | The total score is summative. Bicycle trip (independent planning, organization, management and evaluation of individual duties). Organization of a recreational event for children and young people (independent planning, organization, management and evaluation of individual duties). Presentation of a recreational mountain hiking route plan. Development of a risk management plan for a recreational activity. Analysis of recreational events in relation to regulatory enactments - in the context of coordinating a public event. Active participation, presentation of a read book and dynamics of development. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | 1. The student will know the aspects of planning, organizing and analyzing a bicycle trip. characteristics. 2. Knows laws and regulations related to the organization of recreational events (coordination of public events). 3. Knows the characteristics, safety and organization of recreational mountain hikes. 4. Knows how to develop a risk management plan for recreational activities. | ||||||||
Skills: | 5. The student knows how to plan, implement and evaluate a bicycle trip. Will be able to work both individually and in a team. 6. The student knows how to plan, implement and evaluate a recreational event for children and young people, including those with special needs. Will be able to work both individually and in a team. 7. Cooperate with other organizations (including municipalities) in organizing public events for children and young people. Ability to manage recreation service projects. | ||||||||
Competencies: | 8. Independently apply knowledge and skills in planning, organizing, managing and evaluating a bicycle trip. 9. Independently apply knowledge and skills in a recreational event for children and young people - planning, organizing, managing, evaluating. 10. Will be able to see, identify and evaluate the availability, capacity and sustainability of environmental resources (cycling). 11. Will be able to express himself using professional terminology and concepts, communicate (including in English) with a group in outdoor activities organized by students. Will be able to use information and communication technologies, basic principles of ethics, organizing recreational activities. | ||||||||
