Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
The Basic Military Training Course (Level 1 and 2), the Course on Preparation and Leading of Military Classes, the Course for a Coach of Fixed Target Shooting have been mastered successfully.
Objective:
To provide students with an idea of the regulatory enactments regulating National Defence Training (hereinafter referred to as NDT), the content of the study course, specific topics of lessons and the layout thereof across the year of studies. To strengthen skills to prepare and lead of military classes. To improve feedback provision skills and prepare students for NDT qualification placement in schools.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Preparing and conducting practical NDT classes, analysis and assessment of classes of colleagues. 
Assessment Criteria:
Uses the regulatory enactments regulating the NDT, the concept, objectives, tasks and performance indicators in planning and preparing classes. 5 points Independently prepares and manages NDT lessons in accordance with the given topics and learning outcomes, observing pedagogical principles. 15 points Modifies the personal approach to preparing and conducting NDT according to the group, available resources and circumstances in class. 15 points Organises and manages the study process by combining military knowledge and pedagogical competence. 20 points Assesses NDT lessons led by other students and provides competent recommendations to improve them. 20 points Independent learning. Methodological study materials have been prepared which provide support to the teacher in the course of the lesson process. 10 points Independent work. Methodological study materials have been prepared which provide support to pupils in the study process. 10 points Attendance and attitude. 5 points Pass – not less than 60% of points have been obtained.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:1. Regulatory enactments regulating NDT. 2. Objectives, tasks and result indicators of NDT.
Skills:3. Will be able to analyse and interpret the regulatory enactments regulating the NDT, the concept, objectives, tasks and performance indicators of NDT. 4. Will independently prepare and manage NDT lessons according to the given topics and learning outcomes, by building an inclusive, intellectually stimulating, emotionally secure student’s learning and development needs based, cooperation-oriented learning environment, observing the principles of education.
Competencies:5. Will modify the personal approach to preparing and conducting NDT lessons by planning, selecting, developing and adapting study content, methods and aids meeting individual learning needs and learning objectives of the student, available resources and circumstances in class. 6. Will organise and manage the study process of students by combining and integrating military knowledge and pedagogical competence, to organise real life situations in the study process. 7. Will assess NDT classes, make constructive proposals to improve them and share professional experience. 8. Able to reflexively and critically evaluate personal pedagogical practice, taking into account the learning outcomes achieved by the student, feedback provided by colleagues, the teacher’s profession standard and the latest developments in national comprehensive defence and pedagogy. 9. Will independently use and analyse NDT-related information, the possibilities for using up-to-date information, up-to-date and communication technologies in the study process to continue their professional improvement.
