| Preliminary Knowledge: | Knowledge of social work and the social security system in Latvia; knowledge of the levels of social work practice; knowledge of the organisation of social work; knowledge of clients from different target groups; knowledge of quality systems management and knowledge of psychosocial assistance. | ||||||||
| Objective: | To develop and deepen professional skills based on the latest achievements in the theory and practice of the social work sector and the mastering of “good experience”. | ||||||||

| Knowledge: | Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the social security system in Latvia; organisation of social work and social services in the institution; understanding of the cooperation and the principles of establishing it in work with a client, as well as with the cooperation institutions; able to demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the quality assessment and quality management of social services. | ||||||||
| Skills: | Able to demonstrate understanding of professional ethics and values; use theoretical knowledge in evaluating the problem situation and the dynamics of the case, planning and organising the intervention process; able to analyse and assess the quality of services. | ||||||||
| Competencies: | Able to manage a dispute or conflict settlement situation. To assess the quality management system in a specific institution and analyse the results. | ||||||||
